Tsutime Damascus

Sakai Jikko’s Tsutime Damascus line sports a blade steel crafted out of VG10 steel and are designed with a 33-layer Damascus pattern and stylish hammer-strike markings. VG10 is a stainless steel that possess an HRC range anywhere from 60-61, making it a reletively hard steel. The blades of the knives in this line are challenging to sharpen and either require their user to have good sharpening skill or servicing by a professional knife sharpener. VG10 knives are highly ware-, stain-, and rust-resistant knives making maintinance is a breeze. These VG10 knives sport a traditional-style, ebony wood handle embedded with a buffalo horn bolster for balance and precision.
